RECAP OF 2017 (MARKED 10 YEARS OF JAMIEL'S PASSING)

2017 was huge year for the Jamiel Neal Fundraiser, it marked 10 years since Jamiel Neal passing. With your donations and support we hosted and participated in three major events.

We hosted a fundraiser event on June 23, 2017 at the ArtsWestchester and raised money to help benefit Mothers' Against Drunk Driving and helped children in need in the White Plains area purchase school supplies. Special thanks to all of the speakers that spoke at the Jamiel Neal Fundraiser: Audrey Neal-Hardy, Alicia Hardy-Josephs, Brittany Hardy, Officer Jack Brito from Westchester County Police Department, Alana Burgess from Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Torey Thomas, and Frank Williams.  

On August 26, 2017 we hosted the Jamiel Neal School Supply Giveaway and BBQ'ed at Gardella Park in White Plains, NY, and provided children with materials essential to achieving success in school to get the education to learn about the dangers of drunk driving.

On October 21, 2017, we Walked Like MADD to help end drunk driving, an annual event that the Jamiel Neal Fundraiser participates in.

Jamiel's family wants to keep Jamiel's legacy alive and wants to raise awareness on drinking and driving so that other families don't experience the pain they felt 15 years ago and still feel to this day with the loss of Jamiel Neal.
